Everything you need to set up and get the most out of RawTrade.

Getting Started

Welcome to RawTrade. Follow these steps to get your account set up in minutes:

Create an account — Sign up at rawtrades.io. Your free trial gives you full access for 7 days, no credit card required.
Add your first account — Click Add Account in the dashboard header. Enter your prop firm name, account size, and account type (Challenge, Funded, etc.).
Connect MT5 — Follow the MT5 connection guide below to sync your trades automatically.
Explore your dashboard — Once trades are synced, your equity curve, performance metrics, and journal populate automatically.

Connect MT5

RawTrade syncs with your MetaTrader 5 account to automatically import your trade history and live positions.

Steps to connect your MT5 account:

Open MetaTrader 5 on your desktop.
Go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors.
Enable Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add https://api.rawtrades.io.
Download the RawTrade MT5 sync file from your account Settings → Integrations.
Copy the file to your MT5 Experts folder and attach it to any chart.
Enter your RawTrade API key (found in Settings) when prompted.
Your trades will begin syncing immediately. Allow up to 2 minutes for historical data to import.

Note: MT5 sync requires the MetaTrader 5 desktop application. Mobile MT5 does not support Expert Advisors.

Dashboard Overview

The RawTrade dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of your overall trading portfolio across all connected accounts.

Portfolio Balance

Combined equity across all active accounts.

Today P&L

Realized profit or loss for the current trading day.

Open Trades

Total number of positions currently open across all accounts.

MTD Win Rate

Month-to-date percentage of winning trades.

Equity Curve

Visual chart of combined portfolio equity over time.

Drawdown Monitor

Per-account daily and max drawdown progress toward limits.

Trade Journal

The Trade Journal logs every executed trade with full details — entry, exit, size, P&L, and duration.

You can filter trades by account, date range, symbol, or result. Use the journal to:

Review individual trade decisions
Tag trades with custom notes
Identify patterns in winning vs. losing trades
Export your trade history to CSV

Trades are synced automatically from MT5. You can also import trades manually using a CSV file from Journal → Import.

Analytics & Reports

RawTrade provides a full suite of performance analytics calculated directly from your trade data:

Monthly P&L, win rate trends, pair performance breakdown.

Best trading days, sessions, and hours of the day.

Risk Metrics

Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, VaR, drawdown analysis.

Guardian

Prop firm rule monitoring — daily DD, max DD, consistency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is RawTrade free?

RawTrade offers a free 7-day trial with full access to all features. After the trial, you can choose a paid plan or continue with the limited free tier.

Which brokers and platforms does RawTrade support?

RawTrade supports MetaTrader 5 (MT5) accounts. MT4 support is in development. You can also manually import trades via CSV.

Is my trading data secure?

Yes. Your data is stored securely using Supabase (US-based) with row-level security. We never share or sell your trading data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Does RawTrade support multiple accounts?

Yes. You can connect and track multiple prop firm accounts simultaneously. Each account is tracked independently with its own equity curve, metrics, and rule compliance status.

Does RawTrade provide trading signals or advice?

No. RawTrade is a journaling and analytics tool only. We do not provide signals, recommendations, or financial advice of any kind.

How do I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
